Good value family day

I was looking for something affordable for the kids during the half term. The family day out tickets were a good deal, saved us a bit compared to buying individual passes. We spent most of the day there, so it felt like good value for the money. No complaints on the cost.

Fun day for the kids

We took the kids to Habberley Trail last Saturday. It was pretty chill, not too crowded. The outdoor play area kept them busy for ages. My youngest loved the toddler play zones. It was easy to get around, and we just had a good time overall. Nothing fancy, just a solid family outing.

Always a good time here

This was our third visit to Habberley Trail, and it was just as reliable as the previous times. We booked the adventure trail admission again. It's consistently well-maintained, and the kids always find new things to enjoy, even on repeat visits. This time, we tried out the seasonal themed trail, which was a nice addition. Booking was easy, as always, and everything went smoothly from arrival to leaving. It's our go-to for a relaxed outdoor day.

Detailed experience review

I booked the adventure trail admission for my two children and myself online for a Tuesday during the school holidays. The website was straightforward to navigate, and booking took less than five minutes. We received an email confirmation instantly. When we arrived, parking was plentiful, which was a relief. Entry was smooth; they just scanned our booking on my phone. The trail itself was well-maintained. The 100-meter zip line was a big hit, my older child went on it a few times. The nature walks were pleasant, and the picnic areas were clean, which made lunch easy. We brought our own food, which was allowed. The only minor thing was a short queue for one of the climbing frames, but it moved quickly. Overall, it was a solid day out with plenty to do.

Decent day, could improve signs

We visited for a family day out, bought the family pass. The price was fair for what's offered. The kids really enjoyed the obstacle courses and outdoor slides. Delivery of the e-tickets was immediate. Customer service at the entrance was quick and friendly. My only slight issue was that some of the signs along the nature trails could be a bit clearer; we got a little turned around once. But it wasn't a major problem. Good value, just a small tweak needed for navigation.

How long does it usually take to go around the whole place? Trying to figure out if it's a full day thing or just a few hours.

T Todd 2 months ago
We spent a good 3-4 hours there easily, especially with younger kids stopping at everything.

Depends on how much you linger! You could probably do it quicker if you rushed, but to enjoy it properly, I'd say half a day minimum.

Is the zip line included with the general admission ticket or is that an extra charge?

R Renee 2 months ago
The zip line is part of the admission, no extra cost once you're in.

Nah, it's included. You just queue up for it. My little one went on it like five times last summer.

Planning a birthday party for my 7-year-old. Are the party packages any good at Habberley? Or should I just get regular tickets?

G Gwen 1 month ago
Party packages are pretty decent, everything's usually sorted for you. Saves a lot of hassle.

My cousin did a party there last year and the kids loved it. They get a dedicated space and usually some extra activities. Depends if you want the full organized thing or just a casual day out.

Thinking of going with a big group of friends and their kids. Do they do any discounts if we have like 10+ people?

L Lisa W. 2 months ago
Pretty sure they do group discounts. Check their website, it usually applies automatically at checkout for larger bookings.

Yep, my sister booked for a school trip and got a decent rate. The more people, the better the discount generally.

Compared to something like West Midland Safari Park, is Habberley Trail worth it? Different vibe I know, but trying to decide.

S Steve M. 2 months ago
Totally different. Safari Park is animals, Habberley is more active play and trails. If your kids love climbing and running around, Habberley is probably better value.

Safari Park is a bigger day out, usually more expensive too. Habberley is more hands-on adventure stuff. Depends what you're in the mood for really.
